Introduction
 Heliodisplay is a
technology used for
displaying images in mid
air.
 In the heliodisplay, a
projector focuses the
image onto a layer of mist
in mid-air, resulting in a
two-dimensional display
that appears to float.

Air Is Drawn In
A Cloud Of Microscopic Particles Is
Created
Cloud Of Microscopic Particles Is
Ejected
So As To Create A 3D Screen
Digital Projector Unit Illuminates
The Particle Cloud
Creating A Visible Image
WORKING
The Device Converts The Imaging Properties Of The Air So That
The Air Is Taken In, Converted Instantaneously, And Then Re-
ejected Out.
The System Thus Creates A Dynamic, Non Solid Particle Cloud
By Ejecting Atomized Condensate Present In The Surrounding
Air.
Now The Projector Projects The Given Input On The Found
Invisible Screen.
 1024 X 768
Resolution, 16:9 Or 4:3
Aspect Ratios.
 2000:1 Contrast Ratio
 3D Compatible
 Supports All Formats
 No Hardware Or
Software
 Projects All Images
Viewable On A Computer
Screen Or Televison.
MODEL M1
MODEL M2
M3 AND M30
M50 AND M100
L90
A HANDHELD OBJECT ACTS AS A MOUSE AND
DRAG IMAGES IN MIDAIR.
HAND MOVEMENTS ARE MONITORED BY AN
OPTICAL TRACKING SYSTEM, WHICH IS A
CAMERA THAT:
1. Monitors And Locates Movements
2. Changes In The Location Of Our Hand.
APPLICATIONS
 Advertising/promotion
 Video conferencing
 Virtual surgery
 pre-operative planning
 Military training programs
 Gaming/artwork
 Engineering/architecture plans
 Build the Heliodisplay into furniture
ADVANTAGES
 No Screen To Project Images
 Device Is Light Weight
 No Special Glasses Required
 Translucency Is Controlled
Can Be Converted Into A Furniture
 Nothing Is Added To Air
 Projected Images Appear 3D
 Does Not Create Fog,
 No Electronic Device Affected
DISADVANTAGES
 HELIODISPLAY IS VERY EXPENSIVE.
 VIEWING AN IMAGE IN DIRECT
SUNLIGHT IS IMPOSSIBLE.
 SCREEN CAN BECOME DISTORTED WITH
TOO MUCH AIR MOVEMENT IN THE
ROOM.
CONCLUSION
Heliodisplay is a good projection unit.
It does not require any special hardware and
support videos and jpg images, flash, quick
time etc.
We can also play games on heliodisplays.
It creates one of the most convincing open-air
holographic-like images in existence.
Heliodisplay can work as a free-space
touchscreen when connected to a PC by a
USB cable.
