Ability Dogs and their talents are the focus of the proposed documentary. The documentary would follow people with debilitating conditions and their stories about special dogs from charities like Medical Detection Dogs and Ability Dogs for Young People over a three week filming period in April. Two approaches are outlined - following individuals receiving ability dogs from a charity or the founder of the Essex Dog Display Team as he helps people overcome cynophobia.
