The document summarizes a presentation about finding jobs through the "hidden job market" rather than postings and ads. It notes that 70-90% of hiring occurs through networking and direct contacts rather than postings. It provides tips for job seekers to identify decision makers within companies of interest, research the companies, and schedule face-to-face meetings to find hidden opportunities rather than relying on postings. The presentation emphasizes networking, association meetings, and using one's contacts to meet hiring managers who have immediate needs.
