This document discusses the installation of an autorodder system on a high pressure process to automatically remove rods without manual intervention. Previously, rods had to be removed manually every 6 weeks which posed safety risks and production losses. The new autorodder system uses pneumatic cylinders to reliably push rods out on a preventative maintenance schedule, increasing safety and consistency while reducing costs compared to the manual process.
