The document describes a high voltage fuse blown indicator with an automatic fuse roll system. The system aims to automatically replace blown fuses on the secondary side of transformers to avoid delays from manual recovery. It will attempt to replace blown fuses up to two times for temporary faults before alerting the substation of a potential permanent fault. The automatic recovery system reduces manual work and delays compared to traditional fuse recovery methods.

WITH AUTOMATIC FUSE ROLL SYSTEM
ABSTRACT
Now a day the major problem in the distribution side of the transformer is burning of fuses.
Whenever the fuse has been flown in the transformer, due to any temporary fault in the load
side, the corresponding wireman has to come to recover the fuse. These may cause long time
delay which gives uncomfortable to the customers.
To rectify this problem in the in the distribution side, our project introduces the automatic
fuse recovery in the secondary side of the transformer. Our auto fuse recover system will
automatically put the blown fuse if it is temporary fault. In case of permanent fault, then the
system inform the fault to the corresponding substation and to the nearby wire man.
Whenever the fuse has blown the auto fuse recover system try 1st attempt to put fuse, if the
fuse has again blown within a particular time limit then it tries the second attempt and in it
will send a message to the substation by the control of microprocessor.
Hence our project reduces the manual work in the recovery of fuse and it also avoids the time
delay occurs in the fuse recovery. Another important advantage in this system is the system
will immediately inform the fault to the substation which helps us to reduce the unwanted
accidents.
