1st Tour:

Didgori
Didgori is a historic place of Georgia,
while being an amazing place for hiking
and camping.

Didgori was the battlefield between the
armies of the Kingdom of Georgia and
the crumbling the Great Seliuq Empire
in XXII century. The battle resulted in
King David Iv of Georgias decisive
victory over a Seljuk invasion army and
subsequent re-conquest of a Muslim-
held Tbilisi, which became the royal
capital. The victory at Didgori
inaugurated medieval Georgias
Golden Age" and is celebrated in the
Georgian chronicles as a "miraculous
victory while modern Georgians
continue to remember the event as an
annual September festival known as
Didgoroba.
