Definition A computer is a programmable machine that receives input, stores and manipulates data, and provides output in a useful format.
Who introduced it  Charles Babbage was the first person to introduce the idea of "programmable machines“ he never thought of the idea of desktop computers or laptops.
The first computers The first general-purpose electronic computer, was made in 1946  It was called ENIAC, which stands for; Electronic Numerical Integrator And Computer.
Who invented it John Presper Eckert, born in 1919, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, attended the University of Pennsylvania, taking the Moore Engineering School.  John William Mauchly, born in 1907, Cincinnati, Ohio, studied engineering at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Engineering, but eventually started looking into the Physics department

Peripheral Devices Devices that connect to the computer. Keyboards, microphones, scanners, printers and computer mice are all examples of Peripheral Devices Peripheral Devices are split into three categories, Input, Output and Storage. Input devices give control signals to the computer

Newer generation of the computer Laptops are a newer technology of the computer. Their easier to move around and can fit on your lap. Ipad’s are also a newer technology that can be hand held. They are touch screen and super thin. You can download apps of any kind for free too.

Answer: Howard Aiken and Grace Hopper. Question: Who invented the computer monitor? Answer: Allen B. DuMont.  Question: Who invented the computer printer? Answer: Chester Carlson.
