On the morning of September 11th, 2001 America experienced one of the greatest tragedies in its history. Americas had fallen victim to a terrorist attack and more then three thousand people ended up losing their lives that morning. Two planes had hit each one of the Twin Towers in New York City, one plane  hit the Pentagon, and the last plane went down in a Pennsylvania field.
8:46 am the first plane hits the North tower
A second plane hit the South tower at 9:03 am
Suicide Jumpers
A Pennsylvania Field United Flight 93 was overthrown by its passengers and ended up in a Pennsylvania field; it never made it to its destination. There were no survivors and the plane incinerated on impact.
A third plane hit the pentagon at 9:37 am
*The Facts*2,819 death certificates were given out Of the deaths 77% were male 23% femaleOnly 58% were forensically identified115 different countries lost someone The youngest passenger was Christine Hanson she was 2 and the oldest was Robert Norton he was 82Over 3,000 children were left with only one or no parents at all The fires didnt stop burning till Dec 17th , 99 days after the initial attack There were no survivors from any of the flights # of bodies intact: 289# of body parts found: 19,85836,000 units donated to the New York Blood Center% of Americans that knew someone the passed away: 20%

Public Enemy #1 is No Longer Almost 10 years after the initial attacks on 9/11  the master mind behind it all was brought to justice. Osama Bin Laden was killed on April 29th , 2011 by a Navy Seal team in Pakistan. He was living with his three wives and his children in a compound.
