SEGREGATION.
WHAT IS SEGREGATION?
Segregation is the action or setting
someone or something apart from
others.
It is the separation of pairs, mostly
occurring in racial groups.
Separation of class, race or ethnic
group.
Long time ago in a farm, there were cows and horses, the horses
ruled the farm. The horses were bullies, they had more access to
every area in the farm than the cows, and the cows were not allowed
to go to certain areas of the farm. If the cows were seen in the areas
they are not allowed in, they would be punished, harshly. They had
certain times for eating, going out and drinking water at the trough.
Cows complied to every rule they were given because they didnt
want all the harsh punishment that comes with disobedience.

There was 2 of everything, troughs for eating and drinking, different caretakers,
they were not eating the same food, and they were not getting the same
treatment and benefits, the horses always got better things than the cows. Some
of cows were working for the horses, looked after their babies, cleaned their
houses, and did all the domestic work for them because they were trying to
show them that they are not bad animals. One day a group of cows had a
meeting, discussing the unequal treatment they were getting from the horses
and why is their leader encouraging it. They started coming up with ideas of how
they should end this. They went to the horses and the leaders of the farm and
asked for a meeting to discuss their ideas. They suggested many different
options but the horses chose to have a race. The idea was one cow is going to
race one horse and if the cows win, everyone gets to be treated equally but if
they lose they will continue working for the horses. The cows appointed one of
their strongest member and so did the horses.
Everyone couldnt wait for that day, it was a big
day for the cows (freedom day), the cows trained
so much because he didnt want to disappoint the
others so he had to win this race and the horse on
the other side , didnt bother because horses are
good runners. On the race day everyone on the
farm was there, even the leaders, this was a big
day for everyone. They race started and the
unexpected happened, the cow won the race.it
was unbelievable and from that day the cows were
free, they started to have equal treatment and
benefits as the horses in the farm, and everyone
has live happily ever after.
