4. Maximilian Bittner, 36, is the Chief
Executive Of鍖cer (CEO) of the
Lazada Group. He assumed the
role in March 2012.
As the CEO, Max is the driving
force for the Lazada brand across
the region and is responsible
for the performance of all six
operating countries Indonesia,
Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore,
Thailand and Vietnam. Together
with his team, he aligned all
aspects of the business and is
responsible for the development
of comprehensive plans to ensure
the success of Lazada in each of
its operating countries.
Max began his career at Morgan
Stanleys Investment Banking
division in London prior to
joining McKinsey & Company in
Germany. Over the duration of
four years at the 鍖rm, Max worked
closely with media and retail
clients as a consultant. During his
time at McKinsey, he also joined
the private equity 鍖rm 3i PLC for
six months on a secondment.
Max then joined Rocket Internet
as a Regional Partner before
taking on the role of Chief
Executive Of鍖cer at Lazada.
Max graduated with a degree in
Economics and History from the
University College of London and
holds an MBA from the Kellogg
School of Management.

Aimone drives the acquisition

wide distribution networks and
customer care support. Together
with his team, Aimone aligns
all aspects of the crossborder
business and operations.
He started his career with Lazada
Group as Managing Director and
