 Increases the amount by which a vehicle equipped with idle-reduction technology may
exceed statutory weight limits from 400 pounds to 550 pounds.
 Increases the amount by which a vehicle fueled primarily by natural gas may exceed
statutory limits up to 2000 pounds.
 SB489 / AB546  Decrease in Passenger Vehicle Insurance Minimums
 Reduce intrastate passenger carrier liability to $500,000 for 15 or fewer passengers and
$1 million for 16 or more (from $1.5 million and $5 million, respectively.)
