Hoviesup developed the "Comet" stand up paddleboard with renowned yacht designer Tim Kernan, whose designs have won major sailing regattas. The Comet uses Kernan's next-generation SUP bottom design that allows for faster paddling with less effort than other models. Made of carbon fiber and epoxy resin with an EPS foam core, the Comet weighs 21 pounds for the 12'6" model and 23 pounds for the 14' model.
