The SWWE Regional Network were very pleased to welcome Aalok Sonawala, Head of PMO, National Programmes, Rider Levett Bucknall on 26 February, to BAWA for our first face to face event of 2025. Aalok is a member of APM’s Thames Valley Regional Network and also speaks to members of APM’s PMO Interest Network, which aims to facilitate collaboration and learning, offer unbiased advice and guidance.
Tonight, Aalok planned to discuss the importance of a PMO within project-based organisations, the different types of PMO and their key elements, PMO governance and centres of excellence.
PMO’s within an organisation can be centralised, hub and spoke with a central PMO with satellite PMOs globally, or embedded within projects. The appropriate structure will be determined by the specific business needs of the organisation. The PMO sits above PM delivery and the supply chain delivery teams.

TO MAKE OUR PRODUCTION FIT THE AUDIENCE WE - Used up to date music - We wore trendy and fashionable clothing - We used latest phones and iPod - We used well know drink brands such as Bulmer's - We had the party in a house appealing to our generation due to our age group not being old enough to go to night clubs
- 3. HOW WE APPEAL TO THE AUDIENCE - The script would appeal to our target audience as we used commonly known teenage slang words and filers. - the soundtrack appealed to the audience as we used commonly known songs such as future -low life meaning that our audience could easily relate to this - We used a serious of close up shots and long drawn out shots to give viewers the feeling of being engaged with the party scene
