We learn differently as we age and at different rates. Learning is enhanced through practical application and using our five senses. An effective teacher treats students with respect, shows compassion and confidence, has a sense of humor, and is fair while also being friendly and firm. They have in-depth knowledge of their subject, are passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge, and are committed to students' development.
