How should I react?
Problems in my Aquaponic System
When you¡¯re running an
aquaponics system...
something is bound to go
wrong eventually.
So, how should you react
when something goes awry?
...you accidentally dump too
much of something into your tank.
Say, for example...
¡°Quick! React immediately. I
need to fix it!¡±
Your gut probably tells you...
¶Ù°¿±·¡¯°Õ!
9 times out of 10, no reaction is
the best reaction.
Do nothing.
The immense system biology
almost always fixes the problem.
If you react too quickly and start
adding things or changing levels...
...it can compound the problem
and imbalance the system
further.
There are some exceptions
to this rule, but they are rare.
Note - daily and weekly
system maintenance is still
required.
You should always be managing
your pH, monitoring your fish for
diseases, etc.
