How many referrals?10.3 	Number of referrals it takes to make one hire. Only 16 firms were able to supply the total number of referrals they made in 2010: 223,940. WHY USE SOCIAL MEDIA?88.5% of the firms surveyed consider social media part of their Direct Sourcing efforts. 38.9% of firms manage prospects and candidates with social media tools. Social media is a viable strategy for any job search today. It will be even more so in the future as recruiters become more savy to how social media works.
