How to go to heaven
- 1. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
- 2. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:13-14
- 3. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Romans 3:10 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23
- 4. It is like standing on a short ladder, trying to reach something on a high shelf. You can’t get to it without someone to help you. To reach God, you have to have the help of Jesus!
- 5. We got our sin nature from Adam. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Romans 5:12
- 6. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
- 7. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 The bad news…sin must be paid for and we can’t pay the price ourselves. The good news….Jesus gave His life for us to pay for our sins.
- 8. They are found in these verses: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
- 9. Do you believe that Jesus is Lord? □Yes or □No
- 10. Do you believe with all your heart that Jesus died for your sins, and that God raised Him from the dead? □Yes or □No
- 11. Pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart.
- 12. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20
- 13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
- 14. Dear God, I know that I am a sinner, and that there is nothing I can do to save myself. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to take my sins away. I believe that You raised Him again on the third day. Lord Jesus, I ask you now to come into my heart and take away my sins. I accept you as my Savior. Forgive me for what I‘ve done wrong. Cleanse me from my sins. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to you. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen
- 15. *Attend church regularly. *Read your Bible every day. *Pray….talk to God, every day. *Tell others about Jesus.
