How to Install a PayPal
Donation Button in
Wordpress

Log in to your Paypal account at
www.paypal.com.

Enter your email address and password
and press log in.

Your summary page looks like this.

Scroll down to the “Selling Tools”.

This is where the Selling Tools is
located.

Hover over the “seller preferences”.

Under “selling online” menu, you will
see “PayPal buttons”.

Click on the “update” button.

Click on the “create new button” found
on the right side of the page.

You will be taken to the Create PayPal
payment button page.

Hover over the Choose a button type.

Choose “Donations”.

Type in your organization name/service.

Customize the donation button.

Choose the currency.

You can choose whatever currency you
prefer.

And lastly, choose how you want to accept
the donations. You can either chose your
merchant’s ID or your email address.

And then press the “create button”.

You will be taken to this page.

You have just created your customized
button.

The next thing you will do is to put the
button in to your website….like this.

You can put it in your website’s menu
like this….

And in a page like this….

And in a blog post like this….

In order to do that, you have to copy the
code of the button and paste it in your
website.

Choose website…

Click on the code to select it.

Then press the Select Code button to
copy the code.

Log in to your website

Choose which ever you want to put your
donation button.

You should paste it using an HTML editor.

And viola!!! You’ve got a PayPal
Donation Button.
