To create a Gmail account: 1. Open a web browser and go to google.com and click "Sign In" then "Sign Up" 2. Fill in your information and phone number for verification 3. Enter the verification code sent to your phone number 4. Skip connecting to Google Plus or adding people if you want 5. Click on "Gmail" to access your new email account

Things youll need: Computer or a Laptop. (Some cell-phones might work, but a computer or a laptop is preferred) Access to Internet Connection/ Wi-Fi
STEP 1 1.) Double Click on your most convenient Internet Browser
Type in google.com in the address bar and hit Enter
Find and click on a box that says Sign In in the upper-right hand side.
Find and click on a red box that says Sign Up in the upper right hand side.
Fill in necessary information and when you are done click on the Next Step button at the bottom of the page.
Google sign-up requires a cell phone number for verification. The Terms and Conditions for Google state that Google will never share your personal information such as cell phone number or identification information to other companies for marketing purposes.
Fill in the necessary information that Google needs to verify your e-mail account
Enter the verification code that Google sent at the provided phone number
After you enter the Verification Code and click on Next Step, Google will tell you to change your default picture and get connected to Google Plus and add people to your circle. You dont have to complete those steps. You can simply click on Skip this Step and move on. Then Google will bring you to their homepage. On the same line where you look up images on Google, you will also find Gmail. Click on Gmail.
You will then be redirected to your own G-Mail Account
Now that you have a G-Mail Account, you can do a lot of things like composing messages, signing up for offers and coupons. You can also chat with your friends and share files and photos with them. With their new feature called the Google Docs, you and your friends can also work on a paper together from YOUR OWN HOMES!
