Use different colored pens in science and English notebooks for specific purposes: black pen for copying activities, blue pen for answers, and red pen for corrections. Date entries on the right in red and leave space between activities. Note activity numbers and pages in the margin in red. Create vocabulary lists at the end, copying unknown words in black, their meanings, and example sentences using the words in blue. Diagrams and theory boxes can use any color except red.

1. HOW TO WORK ON SCIENCE AND ENGLISH…NOTEBOOKS
• USE ERASABLE PENS: red, black, blue.
1-black pen: copy the activity.
2-blue pen: answer the activity.
3-red pen: for correcting the activity.
• DATE: on the right hand side copy the date in red colour.
• Leave 5 little squares between each activity.
• Copy the number of the activity and its page in the margin (outside). In red
colour.
• VOCABULARY LISTS: create them at the end of your notebooks.

3-Create/invent a sentence in which you use the new word in blue.
