An RFP is a request for proposal sent to suppliers to bid on a specific product or service. The document outlines the RFP process which includes forming a selection committee, finalizing a schedule, drafting the initial RFP, reviewing proposals, selecting finalists, and negotiating a final contract. It provides guidance on the information to include in an RFP such as background on the organization, contact details, criteria for selection, project details, and requirements for vendors' proposals and solutions.
