When Mark took responsibility for the operations of BEI’s Maumelle facility, he quickly developed a vision and focus for the organization that gave new life and direction to the entire facility. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to assist Mark in developing the leadership capabilities of his management team, which was one of his top priorities. There was also the opportunity to observe Mark as he systematically overhauled a cumbersome engineering and manufacturing process into a lean and precise process that significantly reduced the order processing time, increased the productivity throughput and product yield, and reduced the overall product costs to attain margins that are world class in the industry.
