This document discusses the use of hands-on practices and blended capacity building interventions to support social change efforts in line with a human rights-based approach. It describes a reflect-action cycle used in Bangladesh that involves opening minds, analysis, planning and implementation, and review/reflection. Participants practice these steps in circles to consolidate learning and transfer it to their communities. An example is provided of a village circle that used the reflect-action process to address the lack of local health services by forming a committee, collecting signatures, obtaining land, and gaining approval to establish a community clinic.
