#18: In the context of the latest discourse on social realm based art by Claire Bishop and Grant Kester, the project complicates the issue around authorship and outcomes.
#19: In January, I was in the Republic of Georgia leading workshops for women about personal expression-making artist books from felt. I tried to get some of the women to speak with me about childlessness, but without success. I returned in June and, with Ida Bakzuradize, a local coordinator, issued a call for participation. I consulted several ethnographic texts and with artists who have worked this way to draft questions for anyone who might speaking with me. These are some of the questions.
