A consultation is being held to gather views on area improvements for Hurst Lane Place in Castle Bromwich. Local residents can provide feedback at an open event being held at Castle Bromwich Junior School on January 24th from 4-7pm and January 25th from 9am-1pm, or by completing an online questionnaire available from January 17th to February 10th on the council's website at www.solihull.gov.uk/HurstLanePlace.

Monwabisi Lucky Ntsinde is a South African citizen currently working as a Second Officer on the OSV m.v. Go Gliese since February 2015. He has over 10 years of experience working on various vessel types including AHTS, PSV, and OSV, most recently as Second Officer. He holds certifications in areas such as Bridge Resource Management, Dynamic Positioning, ECDIS, Security Officer, Medical Care, and Fire Fighting. He completed his maritime studies at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and is available to join a new vessel from May 1, 2015.
