ExpositionThe beginning of the play reveals the protagonist, Andrew is moving into a different apartment as a result of his T.V. show getting cancelled. He gets the role of Hamlet in an Shakespeare show. At first he seems okay about taking the position until he realizes the women in the play have a s辿ance. Later on Andrew makes everyone leave his apartment and tells his girlfriend to go upstairs.
Inciting Incident	Barrymore, the ghost, asks Andrew to read some of the lines and thinks that he does it terribly. Barrymore tells Andrew to really act it out, almost overacting it.
Rising Action	Andrew has a lot of work to do to perfect the part of Hamlet. Adding to this, his girlfriend tells him she will not have sex until they are married. Act one ends after a fencing dual with Andrew and Barrymore. Andrew will win the dual. Act two starts out in a lair. Andrew, or Hamlet, banishes everyone from the lair and awaits another interaction with him and Barrymore.
Rising ActionAndrew suddenly realizes he is not playing Hamlet well and gets really nervous.
ClimaxAndrew performing the Hamlet. He talks to Barrymore and tells him he is doing poorly in performing.
Falling ActionAndrew talks to Barrymore about Andrews poor performance. Later on Andrew gets contacted by a friend, Gary, who will offer him a role in a T.V. show. It turns out Andrew will earn $3 million in the first season on the show.
DenumountStrangely, Andrew does not accept the offer from Gary. He stays in New York City to act in the theatre. Andrews girlfriend, Deirdre, tells him that he is very courageous for declining the offer and staying in New York City.
