I really thought i can
1. I Really Thought I Can
Though it was tough then,
I went through feeling easy.
I really thought I can
But now it sounds so crazy.
I don’t know why it was then,
Everything was pretty daisy,
For I don’t know where and when
Things changed and become frizzy.
Feels like it’s a new trend
Of friendship not being too nosey
With people today and ‘friend’
Which of course sounds very pleazy.
But then, why do I pretend?
As if I am drinking a sweet tea of lemon,
When it feels so sorry,
And not anymore easy?
But truly my dear,
I really thought I can.
