the universe. Science in the fields of natural science and its
use can be distinguished in:

2. Applied natural science.

The concept of natural science as technology
development started with a curiosity about something
that is not known by human.
Technology is the application of sceince to meet human
needs.
Natural science as the basis for the
development of the current technology is
growing rapidly in health improvement, energy
provision and industrial development.

application that uses biological systems,
living organisms or derivatives thereof,
to make or modify product or services.

and equipment without genetic engineering.
Example: wine, yoghurt, cheese.
B. Modern Biotechnological
Biotechnology which is based on
manipulation or engineering of DNA, in
addition to utilizing the basic Microbiology and
Biochemistry. Example: genetic engineering,
tissue culture plants.
