Concept Paper
Concept paper is a document used to
convince a panel of potential funders to help
product, program, or service become a reality.
Your teacher will play the role of the sponsor and
you have to convince him or her that your project
is worth your time and effort.
Creating a Concept Paper
Five (5) elements of a Concept Paper
1. Introduction ¨C includes your group¡¯s mission
and vision and a brief introduction of your project.
2. Purpose ¨C includes the reasons why this project
is worth your group and your sponsor¡¯s time, effort,
and money.
3. Description ¨C includes all the necessary
information about the project. In ICT, it involves the
sites you are going to produce and the purpose of
each and how they work in unison.
4. Support ¨C contains the budget needed for the
project.
5. Contact Information ¨C includes the information
on how the group can be contacted

Planning ¨C involves the conceptualize project, research
about the topic, set meetings and deadlines, assign
tasks, find a host, create a site map, list down all
applications and output that needed and consider
funding.
Development ¨C involves the actual creation of the
website involves the production of images and
infographics.
Release and Promotion ¨C involves the actual
release of the website for public view and
promoting it. Promotion typically starts before the
actual release.
Maintenance ¨C involves responding to feedback of
your site visitors and continuing to improve the
website.
