A survey of 2,500 employees from Edenred across 14 countries found that 30% eat at least once a week in a restaurant, while 57% use word-of-mouth and 31% use digital tools to find dining options. Atmosphere, menu variety, and cuisine type were the most important factors for 67%, 66%, and 65% of respondents respectively. 73% of respondents cook their own meals at least three times a week, while prepared meals are popular in Brazil, Germany, Italy, and Japan, and take-away food is very successful in Greece, the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.
