Has lead Urbi for over 10 years, making it, the 3rd largest homebuilder in Mexico. She has build-up and insipired successful high-performance teams. A role-model as mother and wife, knowing how to combine work & personal life. Has boosted the role of women in business at Urbi and Mexicali. She cares about her local community, entrepreneuring programs for kids.
I believe we both are: Committed, work should always be accomplished, no quitter attitude is accepted. Confident in my ideas. Theres always a chance to succeed, you got to try! An idea is always better if complemented with different points of view: be open & tolerant. We arent alone, share our knowledge and talent for the benefit of our community.
My way to work differs from hers in these ways: Prefer to work under pressure & stress: the hard way. When time is a key factor, decisions should be taken by few or just one person. One step at a time: one clear goal per day. Realistic vision of situation rather than idealistic/positive views. Consistent words = actions & vice versa. Adaptable, the world changes every second.
In my personal opinion Selene = role model as leader and businesswomen When worked with her at Urbi, I learned the most I can, & I really did. Tomorrows business world, needs leaders rather than followers. Rather than being a follower of her leadership style I consider my self an apprentice that in the near future will overcome his tutor.
