I would ask the UN¡¯s Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) to share the innovation in flood defense infrastructure Example Case : The Metro Colombo Urban Development Project in Sri Lanka, supported by the World Bank Purpose : Reduce flooding in Colombo by using special techniques to improve the city¡¯s drainage networks to from

Also, I would ask the ADPC to educate Thai people and key organizations about excellent flood preparedness Community Government Schools Business Manage risks & operate business with an emergency plan Understand causes of flood & basic defense Build sustainable flood control infrastructure Be active to deal with unpredictable disasters
- 17. Lastly, I would ask the ADPC to strengthen the performance of Thai National Disaster Warning Center (NDWC) with the global practice The intense collaboration between ADPC and NDWC can considerably relieve damage & save people¡¯s lives
