Citizen Map is a website launched in 2010 that allows citizens in Hong Kong to report environmental issues like illegal dumping, unauthorized development, and landfill problems. In its first week, the site received over 28 reports covering over 7,000 page views. The site aims to verify citizen reports and work with reporters and green groups to raise awareness of environmental issues and influence policy changes.

This is油THE best油service to the油people and油environment of油Hong油Kong I get the point and in principle like it, but the question is what gets done with the information and whether it leads to any credible investigative journalism. At present some ENGOs Kadoorie Farm and WWF for example, are known to be keeping a log of cases they discover. Do you see your site replacing theirs?
