IIM Sirmaur established in 2015 is being mentored by one
of the top most business schools in India - Indian Institute of
Management Lucknow. IIM Lucknow in the
past has successfully mentored two other IIMs IIM Rohtak
and IIM Kashipur
Situated in a city famous for its abundant natural beauty, the
river Yamuna passes through the town.The temporary campus
of IIM Sirmaur is at Himachal Institute of Technology, Near
Dental College, RampurGhat Road, Paonta Sahib, District
Sirmaur, H.P- 173025. Paonta Sahib is an industrial town in
the south of Sirmaur district.
Infrastructure
IIM Sirmaurs campus is a scenic beauty with lush greenery all
around, beautiful hills in the background and the river Yamuna
flowing right next to the campus. The campus constitutes of
an academic block and a residential block.
The academic block consists of fully equipped air conditioned
classrooms, auditoriums, and conference rooms. We have
a rich library with books and journals from all around the
world. Connectivity being the need of the hour, we have a fully
wifi campus with dedicated portals and a hi-tech computer
lab. The residential block has state of the art facilities. The
mess facilities are independently run by the students. Single
occupancy rooms with attached bathrooms are provided to
the students.
The Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur is fifteenth
in the prestigious IIM family of management schools to
be established in India.The establishment of IIMs was
envisioned and initiated by the first Prime Minister of India

The exact dates will be communicated when finalized. The organizations can start inviting applications any time
after the conduction of a Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) and/or confirmation of participation in the Summer Placement
Process. The details of the job offer such as profile, stipend and location must be provided before applications
are invited. Consequently, an invitation letter will be mailed to the organization confirming the date and time at
which the Selection Process will take place. The organization is required to communicate the detailed process
requirements (number of selection rounds, panels, and process specific requirements) atleast 2 days prior to the
placement process.
Pre-Placement Offers
Pre-Placement offers are made by the organization to candidates who
have completed a 2-month summer internship with them. The exact
policy regarding PPOs is subject to the discretion of the placement
committee and should be confirmed with them.
Job Offers
To make an offer, the organization representative will have to fill-up the job offer form that
will be made available on campus. An offer is considered valid only when this form, duly
filled in by the representative, is handed over to the recruitment co-ordinator of the institute.
The organization is requested not to communicate the offer to the candidate directly.
A job offer must specify:

Pre-Placement Talks
A Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) provides an excellent opportunity for candidates to gain
deeper knowledge about the prospective employers. It allows an organization to take
a first-hand look at the institute and the existing talent pool. The representatives get
a chance to spend some quality time with the students and the faculty. The PPTs are
scheduled to suit the convenience of the organization without affecting the PGP schedule.
