Illinois has several geographical features including mountains in southern Illinois and Lake Michigan bordering its eastern side. Major rivers like the Ohio and Mississippi border the state. There are also notable landmarks such as the large Ferris wheel in Chicago and annual events including the Springfield state fair that draws visitors from surrounding states. Economically, Chicago is the most populated city in Illinois with over 2 million residents and is known for its professional sports teams and large shopping malls.

Wonderful Water Features!!!! Lake Michigan is a great lake to go fishing! Ohio River and the Mississippi river border Illinois. Its gets hot in the spring 74 about in May!!
Cool Constructed Landmarks The Illinois ferris wheel is awesome when I went on it I dropped a piece of popcorn and I couldn’t see for awhile!!! You would see all the people and rides There is a tug a war and on one end of the lake 15 guys are pulling and on the other side 15 guys are pulling too!
Economic and Historical Features ! The Springfield state fair is huge people come from different states just to come to this state!!! The raving blues festival is where you list to jazz you can bring your own record and request a song
Important Cities Springfield is the capital of Illinois it has over 111,454 people. Chicago is the most populated it has over 2,000,000 people.
WOW Facts :)!! There are different kinds of people one’s that like football or malls well they have them all . Chicago is where they have all the malls the Chicago bears are awesome well that’s my opinion !!!!!!! Chicago is the hometown of the Chicago bears!!
Shocking Summery Well if you have hobbie its in Illinois . The foot ball team is the Chicago bears and the baseball is the Red Sox’s and the Cubs.:)
