ASSESSMENT Zoekjaar  contd. Points system PhD 30 points Age (21-40)   5 points Previous Experience (in NL)/ Dutch/English proficiency/  5 points Diploma in a country that is  party to the Bologna Declaration
Zoekjaar  contd. ADDED FEATURES No financial assessment No social support from the Dutch government Family members can accompany (rules for family unification will apply) Employer must be included under the Highly Skilled Migrant Scheme under IND
Zoekjaar  contd. Income requirement is lowered from  43,000., to  25,000., Once a job is found, the zoekjaar status is converted to highly skilled migrant status Time period of validity  1 year  Zoekjaar can be availed until three years after the date of their graduation ADDED FEATURES (2)
