About Sun Pharmaceutical Ltd. Sun Pharmaceuticals was established by Mr. Dilip Shanghvi in 1983 in Vapi with five products to treat psychiatry ailments. The 2014 acquisition of Ranbaxy will make the company the largest pharma company in India, the largest Indian pharma company in the US, and the 5th largest special generic company globally Sun Pharmaceutical (Bangladesh) is a private limited company incorporated in March 2001 under the Companies Act 1994.

Keeping full control over the system and having insight into even the smallest Components determines the quality and efficiency of warehouse management. Warehouse Department of Sun Pharmaceutical (Bangladesh) Ltd. consists of individual sections.

MAINTENANCE Maintenance department is a supportive service department in any pharmaceutical industry, which exercises its activities and duties through maintenance and repairing of the electrical and mechanical devices and other facilities of the industry. They provide all sorts of engineering and technical supports in the industry whenever necessary
Process of Maintenance General Maintenance: Light, Ceiling etc. is checked if any problem occurs. Breakdown Maintenance: It is done only for equipment. Preventive Maintenance: Every parts of all equipment are thoroughly checked once in a year.
Production Planning Inventory Control PPIC is the linker between the production and the commercial of a product. Prepare requisition order of Raw and Packaging material based on 1 year production and marketing planning.
Product Marketing Department Product Marketing Department (PMD) also known as Marketing Planning Department (MPD) and Strategic Branding Policy (SBP).
Duties & Responsibilities of PMD Market research to find new molecules for launch. Formulation strategies for new and existing products. Setting up Marketing Strategies for the sales force. Product life cycle management. Responsible for brand promotion plans execution. Analysis of sales. Profitability and revenue.
Human Resources & Admin HR and Admin is an Integral part of an industry. HR and Admin hold the industry together. HR nurtures the employees, gives them mental support and motivates them to perform their job properly.
Conclusion Sun Pharmaceutical (Bangladesh) Ltd. is one of the fast growing Pharmaceutical Companies in Bangladesh. Despite of having some drawbacks, it maintains its share in the market and it will remain strong at its goal. We are very much thankful for this opportunity to learn such unique things.
