Introduction Recently, we¡¯ve experienced a historical moment in our nation¡¯s history. For some younger citizens, this may be their first opportunity to live through such a moment. Whatever the case, many people will reflect on this monumental event and share it with future generations for years to come.
Task Your task is to research some facts about our newly inaugurated President, Barack Obama, and some of the events surrounding his inauguration. You will pay specific attention to his inaugural address and select three portions of it to comment on in a news article. You will create an online news article including video clips to share with the class and future generations. ?? Proceed to the Process page to begin.
Process Use the notes page and the provided resources to begin your research regarding the inauguration. Write out an organized article using the notes that you¡¯ve taken. Select one or two pictures and two to three clips from the inauguration to include in your article. Be sure to write an appropriate lead in to the clip or include some text that describes the picture.
Process Type your written article in Microsoft Word. Make this a digital newsletter by using the designated online blog software. Be sure to include pictures and clips and clips from the inauguration.
