- of Inclusive judo in Serbia;
- First inclusive judo club SENSEI-IN
from Sombor
- In Serbia, judo for persons with disabilities (PWD) was present only
among the visually impaired population.
- Judo for PWD has been implemented in Sombor since early 2013.
- Thanks to support of sensei Darij ?omen from JC Koper in
Slovenia, we started program of Inclusive judo.
- We using Slovenian model of INCLUSIVE JUDO.
- We had started like sport section in special school in Sombor.
- Without support of judo Association and Local Government (2013).

Aims of inclusive judo are
better:
- physical performance,
- self concept,
- socialisation
- including PWD in sport
clubs.

training process several times.
? Joint training in Novi Sad with
inclusive judo section of Judo
club Ka?arevo from Ka?arevo
(near Pan?evo).
? Represented our work to Local
Government in Subotica, with
the aim to support the same
program in judo club in
Subotica.
? Participants are grouped by years not
by disabilities.
? Coaching a Session of Mixed Abilities
/ Disabilities
? Judokas with: intellectual disability,
developmental disorder, cerebral
palsy, motor disabilities, autism
spectrum disorders, behavioral
disorders, social deprivation.
? Including volunteers from other
sections in club (veterans,
competitors, old judokas, parents,
judokas with low intellectual
disabilities).
HOW DO WE COACH?
HOW DO WE COACH?
? Judo warm up exercise.
? Dont teach: Shime-waza, Kansetsu-
waza and Sutemi C waza and technique
that put pressure on the neck.
? Teaching:
- from easier to harder,
- from simple to complex.
- separated elements of one technics
and after automation connect in whole
(e.g Ukemis).
? Using positive motivation (e.g belt
rankings, certificate of abilities,
commendation).
