prominent writer of Kannada
literature.

humorous play.
 His famous English play :

 The brahmin's curse
 Nietzsche's perspectivism :
The term perspectivism is come from the
language of vision.
 Nietzschean perspectivism is the contention
that every view is only one among many
possible interpretations.
We literally see things from a particular
perspective.
 Nietzsche used the word interpretation
mean something like this or that.
Our eyes are located at a particular point in
space from which some things are visible and
other are not: for example
 Nietzsche's view on truth :
Nietzsche said that there is no truth , that
means nothing is true in this world.
For Nietzsche truth is elusive and illusory.
Nietzsche points out that an individual s tries
to create truth or truths so exists in an
individual's perspective onley.
So when author writes then he or her create
truth from his or her individual perspective.
 The purpose :
 Divided in two act.
Story of Arjuna and Eklavya and their purpose
behind learning archery.
 Dronacharya refused to teach Eklavya.
Eklavya is far ahead than Arjuna in archery.
For gurus sake Eklavya gives his thumb as
gurudakshina.
The concept of perspectivism and truth in
the purpose
In the purpose T. P. Kailasam showed
Eklavya's character better than Arjuna.
The story of Mahabharata by Ved vyasa is
conflicting with this story The Purpose by
Kailasam.
Reader who accept Arjuna as greatest archer
and Nobal man, now in this play don't accept
Arjuna in a negative role.
The readers are looking at one story from
different perspectives.
Both writer created truth on his individual
perspective.
We can not prove that Ved vyasa right and
Kailasam is wrong ,so the reality presented by
the writers is just their perspective not truth.
