This document discusses the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of individual blogging and blogging within organizations. For individuals, blogging allows power of choice over content and acting as a thinking and brainstorming tool. However, weaknesses include concerns over being labeled or technology changing too quickly. For organizations, blogging enables transparency but also risks of information leaks or lack of control. Opportunities include visibility, humanizing the organization, and gathering feedback.
