NOS, scroll down to
other NOS and find
even more PCs.
Repeat this till the end
of the document.

The matrix specifies
every PC of a certain
NOS and mentions the
total marks that can
be achieved within
this NOS as well as the
marks allocation for
the individual PCs
The following format could be taken as a basis for the development of assessment content:
The following elements should be included:

The sector which the assessment content about a particular job role is dealing with
The sub-sector of the assessment content about a particular job role
The nomination of a particular job role that the assessment content is about

The level/ difficulty of a particular question of the assessment content (easy, medium, difficult)
The individual PCs within a certain NOS that the assessment content is dealing with
The actual questions of which the assessment content consists
Four different answering options (only one right solution) for the question
The correct option of the question
Pictorial questions should be included (60 70% of the questions)
An example of a DAS Installation Electrician in the ELECTRONICS sector
There is no predefined format of how training content looks like. However, there are
several elements that should be included in every OS unit of the training document:
Short
description of
the OS unit
Scope of the
unit described
briefly
Unit name and
code
All relevant
PCs,
Knowledge as
well as Skill
Criteria should
be mentioned.
Depending on
the depth of
the individual
element, 6-8
learning
contents
should be
included for
each PC, KA,
SA, etc
