Feature Overview
17. In order to use the SimScale platform, no special hardware or software is
required - only internet access and a standard web browser.
The user uploads a CAD model, meshes it with one of the numerous
meshing operations.
Then prepares a simulation with one of the analysis types for structural
mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics or acoustics.
The simulation can be initiated on different hardware configurations
after which the actual computation is carried out automatically in High
Performance Computing (HPC) centers.
Finally, the results can either be visualized and analyzed online in the
integrated post-processing environment or downloaded for local
processing.
