Great infographics stand out by having high graphic quality with good typography, color scheme, text to image flow, research citation, and flow. They can drive huge traffic and links to sites from publications like Wired and TechCrunch, and increase conversions through calls to action and SEO value. The future of infographics includes unique applications like transitioning to print, using transparencies, creating video and motion graphic versions, and new self-service design tools.
