Natural resources in Poland include coal, petroleum, natural gas, iron, copper, zinc, tin, salt, sulfur and silver. Coal and natural gas deposits are primarily located in southern and central Poland, while other resources like iron are distributed throughout the country. Gdansk contains both legal and illegal landfill sites, with illegal dumps found in forests and suburbs. Recycling is important for sustainable resource management and environmental protection, as exploiting natural resources without replenishing them could negatively impact life on Earth.
