This document discusses several innovations including electric cars, e-books, wind turbines, Segway scooters, and technology in general. It notes some of the pros and cons of each innovation such as zero emissions but low speeds for electric cars; cost effectiveness but a feeling of paper loss for e-books; cost effectiveness and saving space for wind turbines but variability in power generation; convenience and helping the physically challenged for Segway scooters but a lack of physical movement; and while technology can be good it can also make people lazy and dependent if they are not indifferent to it.
