Editor's Notes
#4: This is a sampling of the industry players who use the Diver Solution to solve the problem of delivering information internally and externally.
#6: For global, standardized reporting across large organizations, the typical, heavy Data Warehouse architecture may be required.
#11: As examples, Ill use a prototype set of dashboards that we developed for our healthcare solution using Diveport 6.2. Granted we may not have gotten to exactly where we want to go with the upcoming technology but we did get a fair amount of the way there. One of the most necessary and important things to do is to summarize information in such a way that you can group a lot of related information together in the same dashboard screen. Example: grouping related information for Inpatient, Ancillary (Outpatient/ED) and Surgery. Use simple indicators to draw attention to exceptions: In this case, were showing that two exceptions using the red square: the one at the bottom denotes outpatient volumes being slightly below the year-to-date target. Finally, use line and bar charts to add meaning to the data: in this case the month to month trends in inpatient discharges, compared with budget and last year. This is an example of a key leading indicator.
#12: And thats where dashboards come in: they are a tool to help you achieve this goal of focused analysis.
#16: This slide includes CGI financial performance data released for Q2 of FY2007, which ended on March 31, 2007.
