M2P2 Quality Assurance • Assurance that all policies, and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) are followed • Confirmation obtained by accurate reporting of data, regular assessments and monitoring of key indicators. • Results in security for employees and animals, protection for our environment, positive community relations and a verifiable and certifiable M2P2 pork supply to satisfy our customers.

• M2P2 recognizes our moral & ethical obligation to treat our animals humanely and respectfully and expects this of our employees, contractors and others that interact with our animals • M2P2 has a zero tolerance policy towards the mistreatment of animals. Animal Welfare Statement
Our commitment to our animals includes: • Providing sufficient feed and water • Managing the environment to prevent exposure to temperature extremes • Moving animals utilizing low stress techniques • Prompt identification and treatment of sick animals
• Maintaining accurate and complete treatment records • Proper use of vaccines and medications • When necessary, proper procedure for euthanasia and disposal of animals • Showing respect for dead animals in the same manner as if they were alive Our commitment to our animals includes:
Certifications, Assessments & Training • All employees and animal caretakers are certified in PQA+ and TQA • All production sites get regular Site Status Assessments • All contract finishers have received bolt gun Training

Euthanasia Philosophy • In the area of animal husbandry, we are all responsible for the humane treatment of all animals. • Periodically, animals become sick or lame and have no chance of recovery. • Humane treatments dictates that we terminate their suffering with an approved and humane method
EUTHANASIA • We have purchased in excess of 200 Cash Special .25 cal. Bolt Guns for each of our Contract Grower sites.

Ability to review cause, timing, frequency, etc. of all accidents – Company’s approach: • Proactive Approach (training, policies, evaluations, assessments) • Reactive Approach (HR – monitoring claims, return-to-work programs, reporting, compliance, etc.)
Environmental Management • 5 Full time staff devoted to environmental management and compliance assurance • Environmental experts employed to bring specific expertise to assure we meet or exceed governmental expectations • Environmental accountability rests with every employee
Customer Satisfaction • Maximize the value of our relationship through accurate, timely and meaningful communication • Provide assurance that animal welfare and food safety concerns are being managed in a manner that meets or exceeds expectations • Timely response to customer wishes • Never sacrifice integrity
