Intelligence

- 3. Interpretation Personally, the most surprising aspect of the result is how homogenous my intelligences were in comparison to the disparities I expected. My opinion of the test itself, however, is that it fails to assess an objective measure of intelligence. Rather, it measures a person¡¯s propensities and personal disposition when confronting an issue of ambiguous relationship to cognitive ability. The questions were so vague and tangential that I expect a scientifically unacceptable degree of imprecision. I am comparatively introspective in relation to the majority of my schoolmates, and am negligibly affected by social isolation. I am relatively apathetic towards kinaesthetic participation, but am not apprehensive in admiring those who show superlative faculty in this field. My ¡°intelligence¡± in visual/spacing surprised me the most, since I have a striking paucity of skill in creating aesthetics.
- 4. Consciousness & the Two- Track Mind (Intrapersonal Intelligence) ? I was interested in this chapter because my dreams always feel extremely profound. ? I am very contemplative in general, as exemplified by my score in intrapersonal intelligence. ? ¡°For in that sleep of death, what dreams may come¡¡±
- 5. Learning (Spatial Intelligence) ? I found our nervous system¡¯s subtle influences upon our perception to be interesting. ? One of the only chapters with any relevancy towards vision and spatial comprehension. ? I appreciate most non-abstract art since I consider the ¡°abstract¡± as a semantic rather than aesthetic quality.
- 6. Learning(Naturalistic Intelligence) ? This is what it comes down to, ultimately: The chapter has the most pictures of animals in their natural environments: robins, dogs, dolphins, chimps, penguins, and chickens. I dislike portrayals of animals in lab conditions, for the same reason I dislike seeing a tree on fire. ? I like plants and I raise a lot of them.

- #3: My results on this multiple intelligence test show that I scored between 20 to 8 on 8 fields, where the maximum value for a single category is arbitrarily 25. From most to least, I scored 20 in intrapersonal, 19 in visual/spacial, 18 in naturalistic, 17 in musical, 16 in interpersonal, 15 in logical and linguistics, and 9 in kinesthetics
