Aim: By the end of the class, Ss would be able to create stories using action verbs. Author: Luciana Kinoshita
Previous preparation: Write all the verbs that are going to be used on the glass.
1st
step (5 min):
Ask Ss Do you like stories? and What kind of stories?.
Tell Ss that today they will create a short story in English.
Revise with Ss (by using Flash Cards) some verbs.
When T shows an unknown verb Flash Card, tells Ss to look at the glass and look for it.
(all the verbs were supposed to be written there previously).

2nd
step (10 min):
T, using some Flash Cards, tells Ss a short story.
(It doesnt matter if it makes sense or not, if it is a funny story it would be better to encourage Ss)
Divide the class into 2 groups.
Give each group the same number of Flash Cards (try to use all of them).
Tell Ss that each group has to create a story using all the verbs of the Flash Cards they got in the
Present Simple.
Ss plan their story.

4th
